Company History:
Universal Plumbing &
Heating Co. was started in 1961 by Charles (Red) Englert
and incorporated in 1970. In 1982 Karen and Richard (Rich) Kerzetski
acquired Universal Plumbing & Heating Co. from Red.
Universal Plumbing &
Heating Co. has a Nevada State Contractors limit of $7 million. We are
bondable and licensed in Clark County, and the Cities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson. Universal specializes in the
installation of new plumbing on commercial projects such as schools, office
buildings, and warehouses.
Safety:
Universal Plumbing &
Heating Co. is a drug-free workplace. The drug-free workplace program
consists of pre-employment and random drug testing. Universal Plumbing
& Heating Co. has an O.S.H.E.S. approved safety program and every
employee receives constant training and continued education.
Rich
Kerzetski:
Rich graduated from Newark
College of Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering degree. Rich has been
active in the PHCC state-approved apprentice program for over ten years and
is one of ten contractors working on a standard text to be used for apprentice
training nationwide.
Rich has received many acknowledgments
and awards during his 30+ years in the industry, but no award is greater
then the three children he and Karen share, Brian, Sara, and David.
Rich and Karen are proud of
Universal Plumbing & Heating Co. and of all the hard-working employees
that have helped to make it a success.
